Coffee Table in Pippy Oak

Sometimes you will see trees that have multiple little shoots sprouting from the side of the trunk. When cut into planks, these give an unusual speckled effect to the timber, known as pippy (probably because they look like pips). This table is made from a beautiful board which is x mm long and y mm wide. The legs are an unusual blend of painted steel and bronze rings - it is an absolute original.
